2024 was a great year for Actionable Truth with significant growth in subscriber numbers.
It started with only 610 subscribers and currently the subscriber count sits at 2,330…an increase of almost four fold (400%).
THANK YOU FOR BEING ONE OF THEM!
The end of the year is a good opportunity to reflect on the year that was and what can be done better next year and as 2024 is drawing to a close, I had a bit of a think about what would be something that you may find value in.
One thing that I personally have found beneficial in the work of others is live and interactive commentary on current events with the regular livestreams of
and his crew at Cafe Locked Out being one prime example. There are obviously many more. Therefore, I have decided to experiment with doing something similar in 2025.
The format I am contemplating is a weekly show (to start with) in which I discuss the top events/developments I consider most pertinent over the last 7 days and what is the Actionable Take we can have from these as far as the things we need to do to either prepare or counteract these developments.
The show will be interactive with a significant focus on audience (that’s you!) participation. I don’t want it to be something where I do all the talking.
Audience participation will be either through comments on the livestream as it’s taking place or (for those that are comfortable), going live on Camera.
All shows will be recorded and will be distributed as video posts on this Substack and as a podcast episode after some (very) minor editing.
The first show will be on the topic of what we need to mindful of as we enter 2025 similar to what I did in this post around the same time last year:
This is the point where this post also becomes interactive as I am seeking your feedback on this proposed plan and some of the mechanics around it.
As you can see, the first two options above will require you to do something on your end in order to be able to participate in the livestreams.
Running it on Substack will mean you will need to download the app in order to watch and interact live.
Running it on Rumble will mean that you will be able to watch it live no worries but will need to have a Rumble account in order to participate in the live broadcast.
Running it on a dedicated livestream page will mean there are no prerequisites of any kind to watch live and participate. You just enter a name (doesn’t have to be your real name) and away you go.
As far as timing, I am thinking it will be on Friday evenings as it makes the most sense to go through the events of the week then.
However, I am open to your suggestions in the comment section below.
As far as time zones, given almost 60% of subscribers are US-based, it will be Friday Evenings in the US which are Saturday afternoons in Australia and New Zealand.
How does this sound?

Thanks for all your hard work this year Michael. I just wanted to let you know that I sent your article about the ARC (with Ursula) to someone very important in my life (and many others) and you literally averted disaster. Often we do not know the impact we have with our work so I just want to let you know.
I don’t want to use the substack app. I have an aversion to apps in general, they can be very intrusive. And I don’t have a mobile phone. The other options are fine.
